The Teacher Education Program (TEP) began as a department in 2005. Commitment and excellence served as guiding principles in the pioneering stage of building this department. It started with the supervision of three programs namely, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Secondary Education.

Over the years, TEP has been committed to the generalist orientation in the teaching and supervision of the generalized knowledge and the specialized orientation slanted towards passing the board examination. The essence of true education and the power of believing in dreams were reflected on the commitment and excellence that this department is known for.

Today, this department holds the banner program of Northern Bukidnon State College.
