NBSC: Unearthing the Threads of Leadership
May 16, 2025โNorthern Bukidnon State College immersed into building leadership backbone through the Transformational Leaders Academy Cycle 2: Synthesis and Processing. Held at Villa Imelda Farm Resort, the training was participated by 49 academic and administrative leaders who actively shared their experiences and core values in transformative leadership. Dr. Nelly Z. Limbadan, a Clinical Psychologist, and the Assistant Dean of the Social Sciences Cluster at Ateneo de Davao University, facilitated the event as the resource speaker and processed the shared leadership experiences from organizational citizenship, to resilience, and then, accountability.
The session focused on the synthesis and processing of leadership experiences, empowering participants to reflect deeply on their personal and professional growth. Through guided reflection sessions, collaborative discussions, and experiential learning activities, participants explored real-life leadership challenges and identified key insights to enhance their effectiveness and impact. The training emphasized the importance of self-awareness, adaptive thinking, and learning from lived experiences as essential components of transformative leadership.
Mr. Reynan S. Salo, the Teaching, Learning, and Professional Development Coordinator, emphasized the importance of community of care in the workplace as he reflected on how the activities were microcosm of the institutionโs current condition.

This activity marks the culmination of the year-long implementation of the Transformational Leaders Academy Cycle 2. As the program concludes this cycle, it lays a strong foundation for continued growth and development, empowering participants to move forward with renewed purpose and commitment to transformational leadership.
