General Description of the Functions of the Office

The General Services Office oversees the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the college’s infrastructure to ensure a safe, sustainable, and environmentally friendly environment. This includes managing lands, buildings, equipment, recreational areas, and landscaped spaces that support academic, administrative, and ancillary functions. Serving as a guide for the college community, the manual promotes efficient land use, innovative facility development, and sustainable, cost-effective, and structurally sound infrastructure while maintaining aesthetic value.

Objectives

To ensure the effective planning, development, and maintenance of the college’s infrastructure and facilities by promoting safety, sustainability, functionality, and efficient resource utilization, while supporting the academic and administrative needs of the college community.

Services

  • Campus Maintenance
  • Regular cleaning of Facilities. Namely; classrooms, offices, comfort rooms, covered court, stage, benches, stalls, halls, canteen, dining halls, parking, dorms, gymnasium, kitchen, roads and surroundings and other less specified.
  • Regular pruning of trees.
  • Regular watering of plants.
  • Regular trimming of plants and grass.
  • Regular beautification of landscapes.
  • Regular accounting of functional maintenance equipment.
  • Minor repair and maintenance of vehicles.
  • Safekeeping maintenance equipment and materials after usage.
  • Inlets of drainages must be regularly cleared to prevent unnecessary flooding.
  • Drainages must be checked regularly out of piles of garbage.
  • Roofs must be checked regularly out of piles of leaves that cause leakages on ceilings.
