NBSC BOARD APPROVES INCENTIVES FOR TOP BOARD EXAM PASSERS AND SCHOLARSHIP PARTNERSHIP WITH LANDBANK FOUNDATION
The Northern Bukidnon State College Board of Trustees (NBSC-BOT), during its Third Quarter Regular Meeting on October 10, 2025, at the Central Administration Building Boardroom, approved several major initiatives aimed at advancing academic excellence and institutional development.
Among the highlights is the approval of cash incentives of up to ₱100,000 for top-performing board exam passers, a program designed to motivate students to excel in licensure examinations and strengthen NBSC’s culture of academic achievement.
The Board also approved a Memorandum of Agreement with the LANDBANK Countryside Development Foundation, Inc. (LCDFI), making NBSC an official partner in the Iskolar ng LANDBANK Program, which offers scholarships and educational support to deserving students.
Other approvals include the revised Community Extension Services Manual, the Strategic Internationalization Plan (SIP) to boost global engagement, and a curricular enhancement replacing Personality Development with Emotional Intelligence as a core subject.
NBSC President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, expressed her appreciation to Board Chair Commissioner Desiderio R. Apag III and members for their steadfast support, emphasizing that these initiatives reaffirm NBSC’s commitment to student development, community partnership, and global competitiveness.
