NBSC OVPAA successfully conducted the Seminar-Workshop on Instructional Design: Methods of Teaching
The Office of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) of Northern Bukidnon State College held a seminar-workshop on Instructional Design: Methods of Teaching on August 15, 2025, at the NBSC Learning Resource Center (LRC), with the theme “How to Facilitate Instruction with Rigor and Ease”.
Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, started the event with a special message. The resource speaker, Dr. Mercelita Jandayan-Labial, the proprietor of MJL Review and Training Center and the Coordinator of the Office for Internationalization and Linkages at Capitol University, then led the seminar-workshop.
Throughout the day, participants engaged in discussions with pedagogical input and theoretical application. Dr. Mercelita encouraged the faculty to engage in collaborative activities that emphasize how to facilitate learning by “humanizing the classroom”. The program ended with a small speech from the representatives of each academic institute, the closing remarks of Mr. Julius Gabinete, the Faculty Association President, and the giving of certificates.
This initiative reinforced NBSC’s core values of responsibility, adaptability, and excellence. NBSC continues to uphold its mission of delivering quality education through the development of its faculty and staff.
