NBSC Takes on Trash — Committed to a Cleaner Kihare
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), through the leadership of the General Services Office (GSO), hosted a community clean-up drive on September 24, 2025 that covered key areas—from the highway junction, through Kihare, and all the way to the Public Market.
At 6 a.m., clad with working gloves, the participants worked efficiently during the cleanup drive. They used sacks to gather litter and coordinated with the Local Government Unit of Manolo Fortich (LGU – MF) and Barangay Local Government of Tankulan (BLGU – Tankulan) for the proper collection and disposal of garbage. Their organized efforts ensured that all areas were properly cleared.
The event concluded with a breakfast prepared by the Community Extension Services Division (CESD), Research Development and Innovation Division (RDID), Research Ethics Office (REO), and International Affairs and External Linkages (IAELO) team.
NBSC is deeply committed to creating lasting, positive change beyond the campus walls. By spearheading initiatives like the community clean-up drive, it strengthens its role as a driving force in sustainability and local engagement—putting its principles into practice through hands-on community involvement.
