Triumphant Unity: Region X Volleyball Men’s Team Secures Bronze at 2023 SCUAA Championships
The collective strength of three esteemed institutions, Central Mindanao University (CMU), Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), and University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP), culminated in a spectacular victory as the Region X Volleyball Men’s Team clinched the bronze medal at 2023 State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) Championships held on October 1-7, 2023, at Tarlac Agricultural University, Tarlac, Philippines.
In an intense showdown of skills, determination, and sportsmanship, the Region X Volleyball Men’s Team emerged victorious after competing against some of the best teams from various regions in the Philippines. The bronze medal win was a testament to the relentless efforts and dedication of the players, who displayed exemplary teamwork and individual brilliance throughout the tournament.
The path to victory was difficult, as the fierce competition and the stakes were high. The Region X team showcased their skills, resilience, and teamwork, which have been honed through rigorous training and preparation. Their journey to the bronze medal can be summed up as an inspiring tale of unity and determination. The Region X Volleyball Men’s head coach, Dr. Jose Hermis Patricio of Central Mindanao University, and assistant Coach, Mr. Anthony D. Sanchez of NBSC, expressed their pride and gratitude for their players’ incredible performance. Northern Bukidnon State College is proudly represented by: Andy C. Datur, Jr. and John Lord Donghil.
