Tulay for Admin: A Refresher for NBSC’s Administrative Operations
The Quality Assurance Office (QAO) recently conducted an orientation for administrative personnel to refresh their knowledge of updated processes, systems, and requirements within various Northern Bukidnon State College offices.
Held at the NBSC Student Welfare and Development Center offices on January 24, 2025, the event, aptly titled “Tulay for Admin,” aimed to “orient, recalibrate, and rekindle” the commitment of non-teaching staff to maintaining the quality of services and operations within the institution, as Dr. Daniel S. Lerongan, the Head of the QAO, shared. The event, held annually, is intended to provide an avenue for a collective cascading of new processes and updates by all the Administrative Offices in NBSC.
In her opening remarks, NBSC Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Helen E. Maasin, emphasized the crucial role of non-teaching personnel in achieving the institution’s mission, vision, and goals. She underscored that delivering quality education is a collective effort and that the support and efficiency of administrative staff are integral to its success.
Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, College President, provided valuable insights on resource management. She stressed the importance of judicious budget utilization, emphasizing that office supplies should be sufficient until the end of the year. She also shared an insight for all the employees to ponder on.
