QAO conducts ISO 9001:2015 Risk Management and Documentation Requirements Training
April 15, 2025 – In its continuous pursuit of quality and excellence, Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), through its Quality Assurance Office, officially commenced a two-day training on Risk Identification, Management, and Documentation as part of its ISO 9001:2015 training courses.
The training, held on April 14–15, 2025, on the Third Floor of the SWDC Building, NBSC Campus, aims to strengthen the institution’s internal processes by equipping faculty and staff with comprehensive knowledge and skills of risk-based thinking, a core principle of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Led by the Quality Assurance Office, the session underscores the importance of proactive risk management in maintaining a high-quality management system. Participants engaged in lectures, workshops, and documentation exercises to identify potential risks in their respective units and design appropriate mitigation strategies.
NBSC President and administrators fully supported the training initiative, highlighting it as a vital step toward institutional transformation and sustained compliance with global standards.
Dr. Helen E. Maasin, the Vice President for Administration and Finance, admired the speaker, Mr. Kevin T. Catillon, for his dedication to sharing his valuable time and insights with NBSC.
One of the participants, Miss Jayshell Coquila from the Internal Audit Office, shared her key impression in the training and in the goal of the ISO certification from the training.
