The Mandalika International Multi-conference on Science and Engineering (MIMSE) 2023, hosted by Esa Unggul University from Indonesia, was held from November 28-30, 2023 at Raja Kuta, Mandalika, Lombok Island, Indonesia. This international conference consists of symposia covering the following fields: 1) Computer Science; 2) Engineering Science; 3) Economic, Law, Social, and Humanities Science; 4) Language Technology and Education; and 5) Healthcare Science. It aims to provide a platform for developing and sharing effective strategies, the latest trends, innovative approaches, discussions, and presentations on challenges to adapt and increase resilience to natural hazards and energy crises at local and global scales relevant to “Multi-Science and Technology” Innovation in the Environment of Sustainable Development and Green Energy”.
This year’s conference was virtually attended by Muhammad Tito Karnavian, Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs, Dr. Hj. Ida Fauziyah, M.Si., Indonesian Minister of Labour while Minister of Tourism and Creative Inductries Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno emphasized the tourism potential of Lombok Island as the home for the famous Mandalika Circuit. The conference invites contributions on these pivotal topics, seeking to foster an atmosphere of intellectual exchange and promote multidisciplinary collaboration. It encourages researchers, academicians, practitioners, and industry professionals from around the world to submit their scholarly works, empirical studies, theoretical models, and practical applications, thus enriching the knowledge base and propelling the advancement of science and engineering.
The Philippine delegation at the MIMSE Conference included researchers from Northern Bukidnon State College. Ms. Maria Michaela Q. Jamora, a faculty member at GEC, presented her research findings in four papers. Additionally, GEC instructors, Mr. Jo Augustine Corpuz, Ms. Jee Ann Marie Guibone and Ms. Mary Luz Pelesco presented their papers virtually. Mr. Corpuz and Ms. Guibone also took on the roles as paper conference reviewers and steering committee members, along with Mr. Inocencio Ragas, Mr. Jo Augustine Corpuz, Mrs. Rose Ann Cuizon, and Ms. Johnyets Rollan. Ms. Jamora served as an International Advisory Board Member, collaborating fellow experts and researchers from Indonesia, Taiwan, and India.
