NBSC TASAO hosts Pakighimamat: A Day of Socialization and Culmination
Program of Graduating TES and TDP Grantees

Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon – On July 7, 2023, the Testing, Admission, Scholarship, and Aide Office (TASAO) at Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) hosted Pakighimamat, a day of socialization and culmination for the NBSC grantees of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) graduating from the Class of 2023.

During the welcome address, Dr. Catherine Roween C. Almaden, the College President, shared her three heartfelt wishes for the graduating grantees: to think well, choose wisely, and act right. Additionally, she reminded the students to always embody the NBSC mantra of “Creating Futures, Transforming Lives, Guided by God”. Dr. Almaden also expressed her gratitude to the students for their presence, as well as to the College officials, personnel, and partner institutions, including the Land Bank of the Philippines – Manolo Fortich Branch, for their invaluable service and support.

The event was graced by the presence of Desiderio R. Apag, III, D.Eng. PCpE, Chief Administrative Officer, CHED UniFAST Region X; Marvin Harrould A. Kho, Project Technical Staff I, CHED UniFAST Region X; and Ashleah M. Balabagan, Branch Manager of Land Bank of the Philippines – Manolo Fortich Branch.

Engr. Apag, in his inspirational message, shared the steps to promote students’ lives after graduation. He also urged them to strive towards becoming competent individuals with Christian values, while acknowledging God for everything. Furthermore, few students took the opportunity to share their personal testimonies and extend their heartfelt appreciation to CHED UniFast for the assistance provided in their educational journey. The TES and TDP grantees graduating with academic and special awards were also given recognition.

The event concluded with a message from Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, who encouraged the students to always give glory to God and to share the blessings they receive by giving back to the institution and the community.
