NBSC Welcomes Students Back for 2nd Semester
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) warmly welcomed its students back for the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025 with a two-day orientation program held on January 22-23, 2025.
The orientation, which focused on school policies and dress codes, was conducted separately for students from the Institute for Business Management (IBM) on the first day and students from the Institute for Teacher Education (ITE) and the Institute for Computer Studies (ICS) on the second day.
College President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, personally addressed the students during the orientation opening. In her message, President Ganiera emphasized three key points: Respect, Cleanliness, and Punctuality. The President strongly emphasized the importance of punctuality, stating, “In NBSC, nobody is late.”
Furthermore, President Ganiera encouraged the College Student Government (CSG) to draft a resolution on the segregation of solid waste management, demonstrating the college’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
The orientation also allowed students to ask questions and raise concerns directly with the college administration. President Ganiera patiently addressed each question, providing clear and concise answers.
The successful conduct of the orientation signifies the start of a productive and meaningful second semester for the NBSC student body.
