NBSC’s Research and ICT Office Visits USTP-CDO for Possible Collaboration
January 23, 2025—Northern Bukidnon State College visits the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines for a possible collaboration on upgrading the college’s integrated system to include processes to streamline administrative transactions, ensuring a fast and reliable system with integrity and transparency.
This visit aims to present the Integrated Management Information System’s vision, objectives, and potential benefits and explore opportunities for collaboration with the University of Science and Technology of the Southern Philippines. Mr. Jonathan O. Jacobo, the Director of the Digital Transformation Office, together with his staff, presented the USTP’s System Innovations in terms of Government Processes, which include Planning, Budgeting, Procurement, Supply and Delivery, Accounting and Disbursement, and Human Resources, which are all compliant with the Prime HRM requirements.
The consultative meeting was attended by Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa, the Director of the Research, Development, and Innovation Division, Mr. Benzar Glen S. Grepon, the head of the Information and Communication Technology Management Office, and the two ICTMO personnel, Mr. Paul John A. Labastida and Mr. Zichri A. Vicariato.
