NBSC STRENGTHENS PROJECT DEVELOPMENT CAPACITY THROUGH PPP WORKSHOP PARTICIPATION
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) strengthened its project development capabilities through its participation in the Public–Private Partnership (PPP) Capacity Building Workshop held on November 27–28, 2025 at Country Village Hotel, Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City. NBSC was represented by Kevin A. Artuz, Engr. Jestoni G. Tortola, Maria Dejeaneth M. Bag-o, and Mary Luz S. Pelesco.
The two-day workshop gathered representatives from various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) to enhance their competencies in developing and implementing PPP initiatives. Through in-depth sessions on PPP concepts, legal frameworks, project preparation processes, and established best practices, participants gained valuable insights into building institutional readiness for partnership-driven development.
A key highlight of the workshop was the hands-on application of the Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) tool, which enabled participants to identify, screen, and prioritize potential PPP projects with greater accuracy and strategic insight. This practical exercise equipped the NBSC team with essential skills in project evaluation and decision-making, ensuring a more robust approach to future partnership opportunities.
NBSC is committed to applying these learnings to develop innovative, sustainable, and high-impact projects that advance the institution’s mission and contribute to regional progress.
