NBSC EXPANDS HORIZONS AT PSITE NATIONAL CONVENTION 2026
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) recently took part in the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators Inc. (PSITE) National Convention 2026, hosted in partnership with PSITE Bicol and Bicol College at The Marison Hotel in Legazpi City, Albay from March 26 to 28, 2026. With the theme “PSITE 2.0: Augmenting Education, Connecting Community, and Thriving with AI,” the convention provided a platform to explore how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are reshaping IT education and workforce readiness.
NBSC representatives Charlene O. Bulahan and Faisah S. Bacarat engaged with educators, administrators, and industry leaders from across the country, exchanging ideas on teaching strategies, curriculum development, and bridging skills gaps. Sessions offered practical tools and showcased regional innovations, providing insight into how institutions nationwide are integrating technology to advance both education and community development.
The insights and connections gained from the gathering have created opportunities for NBSC to experiment with fresh approaches and integrate new perspectives into its programs. Exposure to diverse practices and innovative strategies allows the College to better anticipate changes in the IT field, strengthening its efforts to provide students with relevant skills and a more dynamic learning experience.
