NBSC’S MANAGEMENT REVIEW REPORTS ZERO COMPLAINTS, STEADY PROGRESS ACROSS QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) strengthened its commitment to service excellence as its Management Review Committee, led by College President Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D., CESE, assessed service quality, audit results, and institutional performance on July 27, 2026, at the NBSC Board Room.
Quality Management Systems Coordinator (QMSC) Dr. Daniel S. Lerongan presented the latest client satisfaction survey results, which showed no reported complaints and only one suggestion for improvement. Several offices were recognized for providing prompt and accommodating assistance to clients.
Most action items from the previous meeting have been addressed, including tighter monitoring of Human Resource requests, appointment-based health consultations, and the proposed shift to electronic student clearance.
The recent internal audit identified nine good practices, seven opportunities for improvement, seven possible nonconformities, and one minor nonconformance, with no major nonconformance recorded. The College’s corrective action system achieved an 85.71% closure rate, with no overdue cases.
External suppliers posted an average performance rating of 95.37%, prompting plans for the development of a monitoring tool to further support evaluation efforts.
The Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) reported ongoing hiring activities for several faculty vacancies ahead of August classes. Campus construction updates also highlighted the continued work on a new classroom building.
The Gender and Development Office (GADO) previewed upcoming activities, including a Capacity-Building session and Gender-Sensitivity Training. The College’s environmental efforts are ongoing through energy conservation measures and preparations for the certification of its Climate Change Plan. Early planning for ISO 9001:2026 was also discussed.
A full review of the Strategic Plan and overall Quality Management System performance is scheduled for December. NBSC continues to advance institutional excellence by translating review discussions into measurable improvement outputs.
