NBSC participates in the TSU National Research Conference

The Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) participated in the National Research Conference of Tarlac State University (TSU) held at the Subic Grand Harbour Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales on December 1-2, 2022. The University Research Office (URO) of TSU hosted its second national-level research conference, with the theme “Fostering Resiliency, Innovation, and Collaboration Through Meaningful Research.”

NBSC researchers, namely Ms. Caroline Laarni R. Sereñas, Ms. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa, Mr. Reynan S. Salo and Ms. Jeddah B. Quiño, successfully presented their institutional concept papers during the conference.

TSU President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco graced the conference as a keynote speaker, along with Dr. Marie Paz E. Morales, National Research Council of the Philippines Division Chair. Pres. Velasco encouraged the presenters to continue generating meaningful research, while Dr. Morales discussed the importance of collaboration in research outputs intended to develop quality education. 

The hybrid research conference welcomed 19 in-person presentations and 25 online presentations from other state universities and colleges as well as some government organizations across the country, including the Northern Bukidnon State College, Bohol Island State University, Cebu Technological University, North Eastern Mindanao State University, Catanduanes State University, University of Northern Philippines, Mindoro State University, Sorsogon State University, Don Honorio Ventura State University, Batangas State University, Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University, Office of the Chief Minister-BARMM and Cotabato State University, Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education – Division of Cotabato City and Cotabato State University, and TESDA Provincial Training Center – Abra.
