DOST – NRCP visits NBSC for research project monitoring
MANOLO FORTICH – Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) welcomed visitors from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and its attached agencies, National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) and Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD) for a research project monitoring.
The research project led by Dr. Christine C. Royo is titled “Structural Analysis of the Cultural Creative Industry Involving IPs in Northern Mindanao”.
Former Rep. Maria Lourdes A. Alba was present who gave an inspirational message on behalf of Rep. Jose Manual Alba. She also expressed her gratitude for this research endeavor which greatly benefits the Indigenous People.
DOST Officials attended the research meeting represented by Ms. Bonita A. Manguilimotan of DOST – X; Mr. Nathanael David Abines of DOST – XI; and Mr. Nole Kristoffer L. Laganga of DOST – XIII. Representatives from NRCP were Ms. Mary Charlote O. Fresco and Ms. Grace Ann M. Valondo. PCAARRD was represented by Ms. Tessa Lyrene Lantican. Also present via Zoom was Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bukidnon – OIC Provincial Director Famelah Racquel D. Villanueva.
The officers and representatives from DOST, NRCP and PCAARRD answered questions and concerns raised by the NBSC research team during the open forum session.
The research monitoring and consultation was done on September 20, 2022 at the NBSC Audio Visual Room.
