The Campus Safety Management Office is designed to convey information to provide proactive programs protocols that facilitate a safe environment for the college community. This manual is the foundation for campus safety and it’s based upon two themes; 1) campus security and threat management, and 2) emergency preparedness or emergency operations. The campus prioritizes a safe and secure environment, with security officers present during the day and a mobile security patrol at night. Buildings are locked after classes and reopened by staff each day. Students and employees are encouraged to stay alert and report any safety concerns.
Parking is limited, with designated spaces marked for 4-wheel and 2-wheel vehicles. Violating parking rules may result in towing or citations. The campus promotes cleanliness and supports a tobacco-free policy. All areas are maintained for optimal use, and any unsafe conditions should be reported to the Building Coordinator. Security is essential at NBSC, with measures like CCTV in place to ensure the safety of everyone on campus.
