IBM New Logo Definition of Elements
The Department’s logo is prohibited for students use for any non-authorized personal or academic use. In cases a student would like to use the logo for academic use, the student must seek an approval first to the Department Head and shall submit a formal request letter.
IBM New Logo Definition of Elements The globe and the building represent the goal of the department to produce business professionals who can lead locally and across the globe. Yellow is the color that represents BSBA and the icon in the middle is an eagle, which is the chosen symbolic sign for BSBA. The 3 stars represent the 3 BSBA programs and the laurel leaves represent excellency The shade of blue represents security and the business industry The shield came from the school’s logo, this indicates that we are under the roof of NBSC And the rope represents the tight bond of the people behind the department who strives hard to help students bring their dreams to reality.
Course Offered
The Financial Management program prepares the graduates for various careers in financial management as well as in related fields, including but not limited to, corporate finance, investment management, banking, credit, trust operations, insurance, foreign currency markets, money markets, capital markets, and other financial securities markets. The curriculum provides the graduate with knowledge on financial institutions and technical skills based on established financial theories, methodologies, and various analytical tools. It also promotes an outlook that is based primarily on ethics, market integrity, regulations, good governance and competitive global perspective, necessary for effective financial decision making.
The Operations Management program prepares the students for the acquisition of competencies and skills needed as managers in manufacturing and service-oriented businesses. It focuses on managing the processes to produce and distribute products and services. Major overall activities often include product creation, development, production, and distribution. Operations Management covers all operations within the organization and related activities including managing purchases, inventory control, quality control, storage, logistics, and evaluation. A great deal of focus is on the efficiency and effectiveness of processes.

The Marketing Management program prepares the students to be responsive to the total environment by providing technical skills and competencies in the areas of marketing. The theory is blended with practicum activities to give the students a broad and enriched base for a career in marketing

CMO 17, series 2017 provides that the BSBA graduates major in Operations Management, Marketing Management, and Financial Management of NBSC must have the ability to: Perform essential management functions, such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling; Apply the basic concepts that underlie each business function area (marketing, finance, human resources management, production and operations management, information technology, and strategic management) and employ these concepts in various business situations; Select the proper decision-making tools to solve problems and drive results critically, analytically, and creatively; Express oneself clearly and communicate effectively with stakeholders in oral and written forms; Apply information and communication technology (ICT) skills as the business
environment requires; Work effectively with other stakeholders and manage conflict in the workplace; Plan and implement business-related activities; Demonstrate corporate citizenship and social responsibility; and Exercise
high personal moral and ethical standards.
