Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) achieved a historic milestone after all five of its academic programs were granted accreditation, reaching a 100% accreditation rate. The recognition was conferred during the 2nd National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies (NNQAA) Quality Assurance Summit and Conferment Ceremony held on March 5–7, 2026, at The Heritage Hotel Manila in Pasay City.
The ceremony was led by Dr. Raymund P. Arcega, CESE, President of the Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA), with NBSC Quality Assurance Head Dr. Daniel S. Lerongan receiving the certificates on behalf of the institution.
All programs were awarded AACCUP Level I status, including the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education (majors in Mathematics and English), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (majors in Financial Management, Marketing Management, and Operations Management).
Alongside the conferment, NBSC, represented by College President Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, EdD., CESE, and Dr. Lerongan, actively participated in the summit, engaging with higher education leaders and quality assurance experts on advancing institutional excellence. The event was graced by CHED Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, emphasizing the role of quality assurance in national education reform.
This achievement reflects the collective efforts of the NBSC community and its stakeholders, reaffirming the college’s commitment to Responsibility, Accountability, Inclusivity, Sustainability, and Excellence, in line with its motto, “Creating futures, transforming lives, guided by God.”
