NBSC Champions Government Accountability in Record Handling and Office Transactions
Northern Bukidnon State College actively participated in the National Seminar and Capacity Enhancement on Public Accountability of Government Officials in Handling Records and Documenting Office Transactions, held from December 12 to 16, 2023, in Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan. This event, sponsored by the Government Records Officers Association of the Philippines, drew the involvement of various government agencies.
The NBSC team, including Jerome S. Abaton, Feliza C. Alguzar, Loredel G. Cabarles, Karyl Ann A. Ellovido, Nikki Lou F. Malinao, Mary Luz S. Pelvesco, Airene May T. Ragol, and Adellan Joy T. Resoor, actively engaged in discussions on efficient record management and office documentation during the seminar.
Designed to elevate the efficiency of government service, the training seminar emphasized the implementation of standard policies mandated by existing laws, notably RA 9470, RA 6713, RA 9485, RA 9184, and the Revised Penal Code, crucial for ensuring adherence to legal frameworks essential for effective governance and record management.
