NBSC COMPLETES INTERNAL QUALITY AUDIT IN PREPARATION FOR ISO CERTIFICATION
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) formally concluded its Internal Quality Audit (IQA) through a closing program held on January 30, 2026, at the Office of the President, marking the completion of the audit process conducted from January 26 to 30, 2026.
Following the preliminaries, Ms. Ma. Cassandra A. Ragandang‑Tubongbanua, MBA, Internal Lead Auditor and Head of Institute for Business Management (IBM), presented the consolidated findings of the internal auditors as part of the College’s preparation for International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification. She highlighted areas of strength before addressing major non‑conformance, minor concerns, and observations indicating aspects that required closer attention, including those that could eventually result in non‑conformance if left unresolved.
Atty. Jag Iesu Iñigo G. Murillo, Independent Internal Auditor and Head of the Legal Office, then presented the results of his audit of the internal auditors, providing an additional perspective on the review process.
Speaking on behalf of NBSC President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa encouraged participants to reflect on the purpose of the IQA, emphasizing that the true challenge lies in sustaining consistency and compliance beyond the audit activity itself.
The closing program highlighted NBSC’s commitment to continuous improvement through careful assessment and collective reflection, reinforcing a culture where standards are upheld with heightened awareness and institutional practices remain aligned with quality and accountability.
