NBSC-ITE JOINS PAFTE REGIONAL STUDENT TEACHERS’ CONGRESS 2026
Northern Bukidnon State College’s Institute for Teacher Education (NBSC-ITE) participated in the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators, Inc. (PAFTE) Regional Student Teachers’ Congress 2026, held on March 6, 2026, at Capitol University in Cagayan de Oro City. The event gathered student teachers from various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs), and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the region to showcase their competencies and share best practices in teacher education.
Representing NBSC in the Teaching Demonstration competition, Ma. Kiezel F. Micabalo showcased her instructional competence and innovative teaching strategies under the guidance of her coach, Ms. Charry Mae C. Grepon. Competing alongside representatives from 27 participating institutions, Ms. Micabalo demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and effective classroom delivery.
Her strong performance earned her 5th place in the Teaching Demonstration, highlighting the quality of preparation and mentorship provided by the faculty and mentors from the NBSC-ITE.
The Institute for Teacher Education also extends its sincere gratitude to Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, College President, Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Christine C. Royo, ITE Program Head, whose encouragement and leadership continue to empower student teachers to participate and excel in academic and professional platforms.
This achievement reflects the institute’s continuing commitment to preparing competent, reflective, and innovative future educators who are ready to contribute meaningfully to the teaching profession.
