NBSC OPENS NEW CANTEEN TO ENHANCE CAMPUS DINING EXPERIENCE
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) officially opened its new canteen on April 13, 2026. Located at the NBSC Field, the facility is set to provide a central dining space for the entire school community. The blessing and inauguration were organized by the Income Generation Program Office (IGPO), which also played a key role in transitioning the vendors from their previous stalls to this new facility.
College President Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D., CESE, thanked the vendors for their support and highlighted that “at the center of the canteen are the students.” She emphasized that it was built with their needs in mind. Vice-President for Administration and Finance, John Kevin A. Artuz, MS, urged the community to be responsible in using and preserving this space, ensuring that it remains a welcoming environment for everyone.
The new canteen features facilities that make it easier for vendors to operate and serve their customers. With a larger, more organized space, it aims to offer faster service, a more comfortable dining experience, and a better environment for socializing between classes. These improvements are designed to enhance both the convenience and overall experience for students, faculty, and staff.
This development offers more than just a place to eat; it’s an investment in the daily lives of the NBSC community. By bringing together vendors and students in a central space, it strengthens campus interactions and improves the overall campus experience. The canteen represents another step toward fostering a more vibrant, cohesive environment, helping to shape a stronger sense of community at NBSC.
