NBSC SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTS 2027 EXTENSION PROPOSALS PRESENTATION AND EVALUATION
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) successfully conducted the 2027 Extension Proposals Presentation and Evaluation on March 23, 2026, at the Research Innovation Hub, bringing together faculty proponents, evaluators, and key institutional offices in a collaborative effort to strengthen community engagement initiatives.
The activity was held with the full support of College President Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D., CESE, whose leadership continues to advance the College’s extension agenda.
Serving as evaluators were Dr. Maria Teresa M. Fajardo, Director of the Extension and Community Relations Division of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) Cagayan de Oro, and Dr. Ray Butch D. Mahinay, Vice President for Extension and Social Development Services of the City College of Cagayan de Oro. Their expertise in community engagement provided valuable insights and constructive recommendations that are expected to enhance the quality, relevance, and impact of NBSC’s extension programs.
Despite the rigorous eight-hour evaluation process, the evaluators demonstrated professionalism and sustained commitment throughout the sessions, ensuring a thorough and meaningful review of each proposal.
A total of 20 project proposals were presented, showcasing the faculty proponents’ commitment to developing innovative, community-centered initiatives aligned with NBSC’s mission of service and development.
The successful conduct of the activity highlights NBSC’s continued commitment to excellence in extension services, anchored on collaboration, shared vision, and sustainable community engagement. With this, NBSC reaffirms its guiding principle of “𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣” as it moves forward with the implementation of impactful programs for its partner communities.
