General Description of the Functions of the Office

The Project Management and Monitoring Office (PMMO) serves as the technical and implementing arm of the College for the coordination, supervision, and monitoring of infrastructure and physical development projects. While the Planning and Development Office oversees project identification and programming, the PMMO translates these into fully implementable construction packages, ensuring quality, code compliance, and timely delivery.

Objectives

The PMMO aims to ensure the effective planning, implementation, and oversight of the College’s infrastructure and civil works projects by developing and updating comprehensive
development and land use plans; executing approved projects in full compliance with government regulations and institutional requirements; safeguarding official project records and documents; recommending acceptance of completed works; and enforcing safety measures to uphold quality, efficiency, and institutional standards.

Services

PMMO manages key processes including:

  • Design Development and Documentation, covering site validation, preparation of detailed plans, and program of works;
  • Project Implementation and Monitoring, involving construction supervision, inspection, and project turnover; and
  • Contractor Billing and Payment Processing, ensuring proper validation, documentation, and timely release of payments.
