CESD CONDUCTS ‘HOSPITALITY 101’ CAPACITY-BUILDING FOR THE SINONTAO CLAN
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), through the Community Extension Services Division (CESD), conducted a two-day capacity-building activity titled “Hospitality 101” for its adopted community, the Sinontao Clan in Barangay Santiago, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, held on January 31–February 1, 2026.
The activity aimed to enhance the community’s understanding of proper guest reception, community-based hospitality, and culturally grounded welcoming practices, in preparation for the establishment of their own culture immersion initiative.
The session was facilitated by Ms. Janah Ang, MMBM of Bukidnon State University (BukSU) – Lantapan Campus, who shared her expertise and practical insights on hospitality aligned with indigenous values and community contexts.
The CESD team, composed of Mr. Julius S. Gabinete, MBA, Mr. Richfield M. Hilario, MBA and staff Ms. Clarie M. Ann Cardente, actively participated in the activity and engaged with the community. The team was warmly welcomed by the members of the Sinontao Clan, reflecting the strong partnership between NBSC and its adopted community.
