NBSC Recognizes Remarkable BLEPT Passers
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) held its first Recognition Day for graduates who successfully passed the September 2025 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) on February 4, 2026, at the NBSC Covered Court.
The program opened with remarks from Dr. Mary Cris J. Go, Director of the Curriculum and Instruction Division (CID) and Kalampusan Program Office Head. She reminded all attendees of NBSC’s core values captured in RAISE (Responsibility, Adaptability, Inclusivity, Sustainability, and Excellence) encouraging them to carry these principles into their daily lives and professional endeavors, serving as guides for personal and collective growth.
Dr. Christine C. Royo, Head of the Institute for Teacher Education (ITE) Program, delivered an inspiring message, urging the graduates to remain determined and open to growth while embracing the opportunities and challenges ahead.
The awarding of BLEPT passers followed, recognizing achievements in the Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English, the Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics, the Bachelor of Elementary Education, and the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education programs. The ceremony also highlighted NBSC’s topnotcher, Christine T. Landayan, LPT, who ranked seventh nationwide. In her brief address, Landayan reflected on the challenges she faced during preparation and encouraged her peers to remain steadfast, showing that obstacles can be overcome with perseverance.
Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice-President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), delivered the closing remarks, celebrating the graduates’ accomplishments while emphasizing the broader significance of such milestones in fostering a culture of resilience and growth within the NBSC community. The Recognition Day concluded with a photo opportunity to capture the momentous occasion.
The event further highlighted the ripple effect of these achievements, demonstrating how individual successes contribute to the growth of the wider college community and its continuing pursuit of excellence. The Recognition Day served as a meaningful celebration of NBSC’s collective spirit, where dedication, perseverance, and shared commitment shape the institution’s identity and future.
