NBSC AND PNP DAMILAG STRENGTHEN TIES THROUGH COURTESY CALL
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) welcomed representatives from theππ‘π’π₯π’π©π©π’π§π ππππ’π¨π§ππ₯ ππ¨π₯π’ππ (πππ) πππ π’π¨π§ππ₯ ππ©πππ’ππ₯ ππ«ππ’π§π’π§π ππ§π’π ππ (ππππ ππ), πππ¦π’π₯ππ , for a courtesy call held on February 12, 2026, at the Office of the College President. The meeting served as an initial step toward building institutional collaboration anchored on shared commitments to public service and community engagement.
Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, SUC President I, led the NBSC delegation, joined by Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa, Director of the Research, Development, and Innovation Division (RDID); Dr. Mary Cris J. Go, Director of the Curriculum and Instruction Division (CID); Alven L. Gomez, MSEST, Director of the Community Extension Services Division (CESD); Rowena E. Bagongon, MA, Director of the Student Affairs, Services, and Development Division (SASDD); and Franco Ceasar M. Agbalog, MA, RPsy, Head of the Appraisal, Testing, and Admission Office (ATAO) and the Student Accounts, Scholarship Aides, and Financial Assistance Office (SASAFAO).
Representing the PNP were PCOL Janelyn P. Cortes, Training Manager; PCMS Jude M. Vallecera, Administrative Police Non-Commissioned Officer (Admin PNCO); PCMS Richelle B. Taborada, School for Field Training and Technical Services (SFTTS), Action PNCO; and PSSg Ruby Ann D. Torbiso, School for Values and Leadership (SVL), Test and Evaluation Action PNCO.
The discussion centered on the possibility of formalizing cooperation through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with both parties exploring general areas where their mandates may intersect. The exchange reflected a shared interest in establishing a structured collaboration that supports their respective functions.
Through initiatives such as this, NBSC continues to strengthen its connection with key sectors in the province. By aligning academic efforts with public service priorities, NBSC fosters opportunities that may contribute to more responsive programs and initiatives that quietly uplift the communities it calls home.
