NBSC PRESENTS PROPOSED FY 2027 BUDGET AT FIRST QUARTER 2026 RDC-X SDC MEETING
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) presented its proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 budget during the First Quarter 2026 Regional Development Council X (RDC-X) Social Development Committee (SDC) Meeting held on February 26, 2026 at Lambago Hall, N Hotel, along Kauswagan Highway in Cagayan de Oro City.
NBSC President Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D., CESE, delivered the presentation before the committee, outlining the College’s strategic fiscal direction for 2027. The proposal detailed Tier 1 and Tier 2 expenditures, priority catalytic programs, and implementation-ready projects aligned with regional development priorities.
The presentation underscored NBSC’s focus on operational excellence, academic innovation, infrastructure development, and strengthened community engagement. It also highlighted NBSC’s demonstrated budget utilization performance and accountability mechanisms, reinforcing its institutional capacity to effectively implement proposed Programs, Activities, and Projects (PAPs).
Dr. Ganiera emphasized NBSC’s alignment with the national and regional transformation agenda, particularly in the areas of digitalization, innovation ecosystems, enhanced connectivity, and collaborative governance. This alignment was presented as a key consideration in shaping the proposed budget priorities for FY 2027.
With the successful completion of this phase, NBSC now prepares for the next series of budget presentations before the Regional Development Council XI (RDC-XI), seeking endorsement and continued support for its proposed initiatives.
The progression of the proposal through the sectoral review process reflects NBSC’s strategic fiscal planning and active engagement in regional development mechanisms. As the budget cycle advances, the College moves forward with a clear institutional direction anchored on strategic planning and responsible resource management.
