NBSC ADVANCES IMPACT ASSESSMENT THROUGH BENCHMARKING WITH LEADING UNIVERSITIES
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) strengthened its efforts to implement a comprehensive impact assessment of its extension programs through a benchmarking activity conducted on March 18 and 25, 2026.
The initiative was carried out in partnership with the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) in Cagayan de Oro City and Central Mindanao University (CMU) in Bukidnon. Both institutions shared best practices on impact assessment, including frameworks, tools, and monitoring strategies.
At USTP, the delegation was welcomed by Dr. Maria Teresa M. Fajardo, Director of the Extension and Community Relations Division, who highlighted effective capacity-building initiatives and institutional systems. Meanwhile, at CMU, Dr. Raquel O. Salingay, Extension Director, provided insights on achieving measurable outcomes and sustainable community impact.
The activity also featured capacity-building sessions and the initial preparation of Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) to support future collaboration in conducting impact analysis.
This benchmarking initiative reflects NBSC’s commitment to enhancing the quality of its extension services through evidence-based approaches and strong institutional partnerships.
