NBSC HOLDS PAG-AMUMA 1 TO STRENGTHEN FACULTY RESEARCH ENGAGEMENT
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) successfully conducted PAG-AMUMA 1: Semestral Kumustahan with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) on April 29, 2026, at the Learning Resource Center. The activity gathered 20 faculty members, including Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice President for Academic Affairs, to share updates, strengthen collaboration, and provide academic support.
Ms. Charry Mae C. Grepon presented the rationale of the activity, highlighting the importance of continuous research engagement and mentoring among faculty members. Training of Trainers (TOT) proponents followed with updates on their respective research projects, highlighting progress, challenges, and key milestones.
Ms. Grepon also presented the TOT/Teacher Leadership Academy (TLA) Cycle, outlining its structured framework for mentoring and leadership development. Dr. Delosa provided expert insights and recommendations to further enhance research outputs, followed by an open forum that encouraged dialogue and exchange of ideas among participants.
In the afternoon, a writeshop was conducted, where participants without ongoing studies worked on possible research titles, while those with existing projects focused on preparing and refining their documents.
PAG-AMUMA 1 reinforced NBSC’s continuing support for faculty research by creating a setting where progress is regularly reviewed and immediately worked on. It also helped streamline individual research efforts into clearer next steps, giving participants a more defined direction for advancing their studies.
