NBSC HOSTS DAY 1 OF CURRICULUM REVIEW AND ENHANCEMENT TRAINING
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) successfully concluded the first day of its two-day Curriculum Review and Enhancement Training on May 18, 2026, at the Dreams Golftel and Residences, San Miguel, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, bringing together administrators, faculty members, and key offices under the Curriculum and Instruction Division (CID), alongside the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) and the Quality Assurance Office (QAO).
The activity focused on strengthening and revisiting existing curricular programs to ensure their relevance, responsiveness, and alignment with current educational standards and industry demands. Centered on the theme “Contextualization: Issues and Relevance,” the discussions emphasized Outcomes-Based Education (OBE), program evaluation and assessment, curriculum reframing, emerging educational trends, and the alignment of academic programs with institutional and industry needs.
Participants actively engaged in collaborative workshops and reporting sessions where institutes and academic groups examined curricular gaps, proposed enhancement strategies, and shared recommendations geared toward improving the quality of instruction and student learning outcomes. The insights and recommendations generated during the first day are expected to contribute significantly to the ongoing improvement of NBSC’s academic programs and quality assurance initiatives.
The training serves as an avenue for NBSC to reinforce its academic direction by encouraging deeper collaboration and informed decision-making among its academic units. Through these continuing efforts, the College strengthens its capacity to deliver programs that remain adaptive to changing educational and professional landscapes.
