NBSC TAKES UP KEY ADMINISTRATIVE AND ACADEMIC MATTERS ON 2ND QUARTER JAAC MEETING
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) convened its Joint Administrative and Academic Council (JAAC) for the Regular 2nd Quarter Meeting on July 3, 2026 via Zoom. It brought together administrative and academic heads to deliberate on key institutional policies, initiatives, and matters requiring approval and endorsement to the Board of Trustees (BOT).
Among the administrative matters discussed were the Proposed Internal Audit Charter, the Constitution of an Audit Committee, the awarding of the Eco Café and Food Stall Lease agreements, and the proposed Memorandum of Agreement with the Local Government Unit of Manolo Fortich for Negosyo 2.0.
The council also deliberated on several academic matters, including the proposed 2027 Institutional Research Projects, the Proposed Authorship Policy, the Authority of the SUC President to sign and enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of the Interior and Local Government–Region X and Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic, the Memorandum of Agreement with the International Institute of Knowledge Management, Pitakotte, Sri Lanka, the Proposed Vehicle Utilization Policy, and the Establishment of the Student Scholarship and Financial Assistance Program.
For topics under the other matters, the Financial Status Report as of June 30, 2026 was presented, while discussions also included the Authority of the SUC President I to sign and enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon and Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) for the Extension Project titled SUGA: Inner Development Goals (IDGs) in Public Sector Leadership and Governance Program, the Confirmation of Compliance with Remaining Requirements and Final Graduation and Latin Honors Eligibility under BOT Resolution No. 52, s. 2026, and the Request for Approval and Endorsement of the Class Valedictorian for Batch 2026.
The council likewise reviewed a matter for confirmation, specifically the Request for Confirmation of the Two (2) Projects Undertaken through Early Procurement Activities (EPA)
Through this council meeting, NBSC reaffirms its commitment to transparent governance, sound institutional planning, collaborative and informed decision-making by ensuring that policies, initiatives, administrative and academic concerns are thoroughly evaluated before its implementation or endorsement to the Board of Trustees.
