NBSC PRESENTS REGIONAL ADOLESCENT COHABITATION STUDY TO RDC-X COMMITTEE
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) presented the foundational framework of a region-wide study on adolescent cohabitation during the Second Quarter 2026 Regional Development Council X (RDC-X) Social Development Committee Meeting on June 3, 2026. The session was held at the New Asian Business Cabletow Cooperative Academy (ABCCA) Building, located at the corner of Burgos and Toribio Chaves Streets in Cagayan de Oro City.
Project Leader Mr. Reynan S. Salo, MAPsy, delivered the presentation on behalf of the research team, which included Assistant Project Leader Ms. Charry Mae C. Grepon, and Component Leaders Mr. Benzar Glen S. Grepon, MIT, and Ms. Zandra Shelle Y. Ordinan, MA. Titled “The Hidden Household: An Analysis of Adolescent Cohabitation and its Effects on the Human Capital of Region X,” the research initiative was set in motion after NBSC was tapped by the RDC to conduct the study. Because the project is currently establishing its initial structural parameters, the presentation focused primarily on its conceptual design and methodological framework ahead of upcoming field implementation.
This strategic engagement highlights the College’s growing capacity to generate rigorous, high-impact institutional investigations designed to directly inform regional policy and socio-economic planning. By leading a specialized study for the region’s primary advisory body, NBSC strengthens its academic footprint, reinforcing its role as a vital engine for baseline knowledge production and collaborative scholarly leadership in Northern Mindanao.
