NBSC STRENGTHENS FACULTY CAPACITY FOR GLOBAL LEARNING THROUGH COIL WORKSHOP
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), through the International Affairs and External Linkages Office (IAELO), conducted the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Capacity-Building Workshop themed βStrengthening International Collaboration and Global Learning among Partner Institutionsβ on August 12, 2026, via Zoom.
The activity brought together NBSC and its international partner institutions from Indonesia: Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Universitas Esa Unggul, Universitas Dinamika, and Universitas Budi Luhur. The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) in Cagayan de Oro City also participated in the event.
Serving as the resource speaker was Dr. Ana Marie J. Matalines, Head of the International Affairs and Relations Office of Davao del Sur State College (DSSC-IARO), who shared valuable insights and practical approaches to implementing COIL.
The workshop aimed to strengthen faculty capacity in implementing COIL, promote cross-border academic collaboration, and explore opportunities for joint teaching and learning initiatives.
Through initiatives such as this, NBSC continues to advance its commitment to internationalization, global learning, and meaningful academic collaboration with partner institutions.
