The NBSC research team presents the preliminary findings of the study, “Factors Influencing Teenage Pregnancy Incidence in Northern Mindanao,” to NEDA X

The Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) research team led by Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa, together with Mr. Rolan Mancha, Mr. Reynan Salo, Ms. Jeddah Quiño, Ms. Mona Liel Lacsa, and Ms. Cristine Joy Sagaosao, presented the initial results of the study, Factors Influencing Incidence of Teenage Pregnancy in Northern Mindanao, to the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Region 10.

The team was welcomed by the Regional Director, Mylah Faye Aurora B. Cariño. Director Cariño expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the college for undertaking the study. 

The Commission on Population and Development Regional Office 10, the Department of Health Center for Health Development – Northern Mindanao, the Department of Education – Regional Office 10, and the Health Officers and Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons of the concerned cities and municipalities were among the organizations that were also invited to the activity.

The presentation of the results and discussion of proposed validation activities was conducted on December 10, 2022 at the RDC/NEDA-X Building, Capistrano-Echem Streets, Cagayan de Oro City.
