Project BLUED Shines Among Top Eight Researches at PAFTE’s Prestigious National and International Convention
Project BLUED (Building Lasting Understanding of Evaluation through Demonstration) has emerged as a standout initiative. It was selected as one of the eight shortlisted papers for the 53rd National and 14th International Convention of the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators, Inc. This distinction places Project BLUED at the forefront of educational innovation, distinguishing it from a competitive pool of 89 submissions.
Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa, the driving force behind Project BLUED, presented her prototype designed to assess teaching demonstration competence across professional education courses. The prototype integrates eight key components that align with the Teacher Education Program’s mandates and the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers, utilizing a Design Thinking framework.
Project BLUED is attributed to the Training of Trainers Program of the Office of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, headed by Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa. This project exemplifies the program’s dedication to enhancing teaching and learning experiences within the NBSC community, marking a significant leap forward in educational excellence. This recognition is a testament to the impactful strides in advancing education.
