General Description of the Functions of the Office

The role of the Supply and Property Management Office ranges from accommodating the request of the college for supplies and materials, managing the college purchases, acceptance of deliveries, to issuing items with proper documentation. The office is also responsible for the storage and disposal of supplies and equipment of the College. It also keeps the inventory of property, plant, and equipment and other necessary documents of Northern Bukidnon State College.

Objectives

To continuously provide exceptional service to its end users and maintain compliance with institutional and legal standards, Northern Bukidnon State College’s Supply and Property Management Office oversees the entire supply life cycle, including receipt, inspection, and acceptance of goods and services; issuance, custodianship, repair, and maintenance of equipment; inventory recording and reporting; disposal of unserviceable items; and issuance of accountability clearances. This ensures the timely acquisition and efficient management of supplies, materials, equipment, properties, and services.

Services

The Supply and Property Management Office ensures the proper handling, distribution, and monitoring of the College’s resources through standardized procedures. These include the inspection and acceptance of deliveries to ensure quality and compliance, evaluation of supplier and contractor performance, and systematic requisition and issuance of supplies and equipment.

The office also manages inventory through regular monitoring, semi-annual and annual physical counts, and accurate record-keeping. It oversees the proper disposal of unserviceable property in accordance with government regulations and ensures transparency through public bidding and documentation.

 

Additionally, the office handles fuel requests and utilization monitoring to support operational needs. Through these processes, the office promotes accountability, efficiency, and the responsible use of institutional resources.
