NBSC Joins 2025 International Physical Education Convention in Cebu City
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) proudly participated in the 2025 International Physical Education Convention, held from May 14 to 16, 2025, at the University of San Jose-Recoletos, Cebu City. Mr. Rolan L. Mancha, MAED, and Mr. Anthony D. Sanchez, MAED, esteemed faculty, represented the institution.
The convention’s theme was “Championing Change: High-Impact PE, Health, Sports, Dance, and Research for Global Excellence.” It gathered educators, researchers, and allied professionals from across the country and abroad to explore groundbreaking innovations in Physical Education (PE) and its allied disciplines.
The event emphasized PE’s evolving role in shaping global competencies and promoting holistic development among learners. Participants engaged in sessions showcasing the latest trends, strategies, and research outputs to enhance PE programs in academic institutions.
Mr. Mancha and Mr. Sanchez actively participated in various learning tracks and networking opportunities to foster collaboration and exchange transformative practices. Mr. Mancha was also among the chosen participants to present his study titled, “Perceived Physical Literacy as Influenced by Attitudes towards Physical Activity and Quality Physical Education: A Convergent Design.”
Their involvement underscores NBSC’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development, ensuring that the institution stays at the forefront of quality education in the region.
