Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) and De La Salle University (DLSU) officially launched a partnership focused on research and development, solidifying their collaboration with a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing on June 9, 2025.
The agreement was formalized by key officials from both institutions. Leading the NBSC delegation were Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa, Director of the Research, Development, and Innovation Division (RDID). Representing DLSU were Dr. Marites M. Tiongco of the School of Economics; Dr. Homer J. Yabut, Director of the Social Development Research Center (SDRC); and Dr. Jerome V. Cleofas, Chair of the Department of Sociology and Behavioral Sciences.
Held at NBSC’s Student Welfare Development Center, the signing ceremony served as a prelude to a two-day capacity-building workshop titled “Enhancing Research Outputs: A Capacity-Building Workshop on Publishing Research.” The agreement formalizes a shared vision for advancing institutional research, developing faculty expertise, and increasing scholarly output between the two institutions.
For NBSC, this collaboration is a cornerstone of its strategic push to elevate its Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) efforts. By leveraging the expertise of a leading institution like DLSU, NBSC aims to accelerate its research productivity and enhance the quality and impact of its scholarly work.
