NBSC Strengthens Faculty Skills in Instructional Material Development
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), through its Curriculum and Instruction Division, successfully conducted a two-day training and workshop titled “Developing Copyright-Ready Instructional Materials for the Future” on August 13–14, 2025, at the Learning Resource Center.
The activity aimed to strengthen faculty capabilities in producing innovative, high-quality, and copyright-compliant instructional materials (IMs) that enhance teaching and learning experiences.
On the first day, Prof. Gladys S. Ayunar and Prof. Kent Levi Bonifacio from Central Mindanao University facilitated sessions on instructional material development, design principles, and copyright essentials, followed by workshops on IM review, enhancement, plagiarism checking, and proper referencing.
Day 2 focused on creative and technical aspects, with the resource speakers guiding participants in designing presentations and book covers, and in understanding the copyright application process.
This activity was spearheaded by CID Director, Dr. Mary Cris J. Go, with the strong support of Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, and NBSC President, Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D., CESE. The College’s leadership emphasized that building faculty capacity in instructional material development contributes to NBSC’s vision of becoming a college of choice, nationally recognized for innovative and sustainable academic programs.
