NBSC SUPPORTS ZERO WASTE MONTH THROUGH CAMPUS CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) conducted a campus-wide clean-up drive on January 14, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the NBSC Campus in observance of Zero Waste Month, as declared under Proclamation No. 760, s. 2014. The initiative underscored the college’s continued commitment to promoting environmental awareness and responsible waste management practices.
The activity was initiated by the General Services Office, headed by Mr. Fritchar H. Gevero, MA. Participants carried out general cleaning activities across the campus, covering both indoor and outdoor areas. These efforts reinforced proper housekeeping practices while aligning with the institution’s implementation of the 7S standards.
Beyond improving physical spaces, the activity encouraged attentiveness to the immediate surroundings and reinforced everyday habits that support cleanliness and sustainability. Through initiatives like this, NBSC helps sustain an environment that supports learning and daily operations.
