The Integrated Management Information System (IMIS) Training Series continued with Module 2: Work and Financial Planning and OPCR/PRE/AIP, held at Dream Golftel by Dream Residences in San Miguel, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
NBSC President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D., CESE, graced the event and expressed her full support for the initiative. She emphasized that the training reflects her commitment to the digitalization of institutional processes, a key priority in strengthening efficiency and transparency at Northern Bukidnon State College. In her opening remarks, Dr. Ganiera also encouraged participants to embrace her recent mantra for kindness: “May you be well, may you be happy, may you be loved, may you be at peace.”
The session was facilitated by the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) team, headed by Dr. Jonathan Jacobo. Dr. Jacobo led a comprehensive review of the Government Integrated Administration and Management System (GIAMS), explaining its features and functions while guiding participants on inputting the necessary data into the system.
Together with his team, Dr. Jacobo oriented the participants on maximizing the system to enhance work and financial planning, OPCR/PRE, and AIP processes. The training highlighted efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational performance indicators, ensuring that NBSC employees are well-equipped to adopt technology-driven solutions in planning, monitoring, and reporting.
This initiative is facilitated by NBSC’s Research and Innovation Development Division, headed by Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa.
Through this training series, NBSC strengthens its commitment to digital transformation and institutional capacity-building, advancing its vision of innovation, accountability, and human-centered values in public service.
