NBSC’s TLA Holds Capacity-Building Writeshop to Strengthen Academic Research
The Transformational Leaders Academy (TLA) of Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) successfully conducted its Capacity Building Writeshop on September 22-23, 2025 at Eliana Farm Resort and Villas, Diclum, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. The event gathered TLA proponents from various NBSC institutes for two days of intensive learning and collaboration.
Serving as the resource speaker, Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, emphasized the significance of Jack Whitehead’s Living Theory and key aspects of academic writing. With her expertise, she guided participants in refining their research outputs to eventually bring their work to publication.
The proponents-participants also shared and presented the progress of their respective studies, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that allowed them to gain feedback, insights, and encouragement from peers and mentors.
The writeshop aimed to empower educators and researchers to go beyond theory by producing scholarly works that create meaningful impact in the academic community and beyond.
Behind the success of the activity was the unwavering support of Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, College President, and Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa, Research Development and Innovation (RDID) Director, whose commitment to advancing research initiatives continues to inspire the TLA community.
