Day 1 of the GAD Focal Point System Training Workshop on GAD Agenda Crafting and Strategic Planning
The first day of the GAD Focal Point System Training Workshop on GAD Agenda Crafting and Strategic Planning kicked off at the Pearl Olive Eden Garden and Event Venue in Tankulan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
In line with the institution’s commitment to promoting gender equality and inclusive development, participants began their journey towards strengthening gender mainstreaming within their respective offices.
The workshop, led by Dr. Rowena Antoniette Moonyeen S. Navera, featured sessions on the foundational concepts of Gender and Development (GAD) and the importance of Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF) tool compliance. Participants engaged in lectures, interactive discussions, and group activities to systematically integrate gender perspectives into institutional policies, programs, and projects.
