NBSC Advances GCED Mainstreaming in Higher Education with PNU’s 2025 Training Completion
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) is pleased to announce that Mr. Alven L. Gomez, International Affairs and External Linkages Office Head, and Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice President for Academic Affairs, have successfully finished the 2025 cycle of the PNU’s (Philippine Normal University) GCED Online Training Course, a program which highlights a strong commitment to advancing the principles of Global Citizenship Education (GCED) in schools and communities.
This year’s course, with the theme “Assessment Approaches and Strategies of Mainstreaming GCED in Higher Education,” ran from July 12 to August 9, 2025, and was extended until August 23, 2025. Delivered in a blended online format, the program combined asynchronous modules with synchronous live sessions on Saturdays via Zoom. Participants were ensured both flexibility and interactive learning in a dynamic virtual environment.
This opportunity strengthened NBSC’s mission of integrating global citizenship values in education and fostering a transformative learning culture in higher education. Its success would not have been possible without PNU’s expertise and the support of NBSC College President, Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, EdD, CESE.
