NBSC attends the 37th AACCUP Annual National Conference and General Assembly 2024 | March 20-22, 2024 | Century Park Hotel, Manila
In order to reinforce the pillars of excellence in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), the 37th AACCUP Annual National Conference General Assembly 2024 was held with the overarching topic of “Sustaining a Workplace Culture of Quality Assurance and Accreditation”. In light of this significant occasion, Quality Assurance Heads and Focal Persons convened to exchange ideas, tactics, and best practices with the goal of establishing a path toward ongoing accreditation and quality assurance in higher education.
The conference provided a forum for the exchange and dissemination of best practices on fostering a culture of quality assurance and accreditation for the sustainable development of higher education institutions, thanks to its multifarious objectives. Discussions centered on fortifying institutional policies and governance frameworks, which play a crucial role in cultivating a favorable atmosphere for sustained development in academic settings.
Among the distinguished representatives from Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) were Dr. Catherine Roween C. Almaden, NBSC’s President; Dr. Ermelina C. Bardilas, Director of Libraries; Dr. Daniel S. Lerongan, QA Director; Dr. Christine C. Royo, TEP Program Head, Shiela Mae M. Orozco, CCS Program Head; Roseanne B. Lontian, BSBA Program Head; Rowena E. Bagongon, SAS Director, and Caroline Laarni R. Serenas, Planning and Development Director. Their presence underscored NBSC’s unwavering commitment to championing quality assurance and accreditation efforts within the institution. Furthermore, NBSC was privileged to be among the beneficiaries of a Free Training on Microsoft M365, Cloud Adoption Framework and Opensource 101 worth of Php 15,000.
