NBSC Charts Bold Future Through 3-Day Strategic Planning Workshop in Bukidnon
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) wrapped up a focused three-day Strategic Development Planning (SDP) Workshop on June 11, 2025, aimed at finalizing the institutionโs Strategic Development Plan for 2026โ2033. Held at Holy Cross High School, for days one to two and the NBSC SWDC Building on the third day, the workshop brought together division heads and members of the technical working group for a structured and collaborative planning process.
Led by College President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, the workshop reaffirmed NBSCโs commitment to its core values of excellence, inclusivity, innovation, accountability, and sustainability. In her opening message, Dr. Villanueva-Ganiera emphasized the critical role of the SDP in guiding NBSCโs long-term growth and educational impact.
Facilitated by experts Dr. Daisy T. Besing (University of Southeastern Philippines), Mr. Joshua P. Elardo, and Dr. Charlo Bianci M. Guray (Davao del Norte State College), the workshop covered strategic components such as visioning, mission formulation, SWOT validation, goal setting, policy agenda, and investment planning.
Through a series of structured workshops and planning sessions, participants developed the strategic framework and directions that will shape NBSCโs programs, services, and infrastructure development from 2026 to 2033.
With the groundwork laid during this intensive workshop, NBSC is well on its way to realizing its vision of becoming a nationally recognized institution committed to transformative, sustainable education in Northern Mindanao.
